It's uncomfortable for people of any height...it's a truck.

Ridgeline #1
Don't know why - but it is the choice in the Bay area - San Fran not Chack.

A ridgeline is more like a Ford Ranchero than a midsize truck. And that it's a Honda is why it's ranked above the GM ones. I guess GM paid them more than Toyota, no way a GM is a better truck than a Tacoma.

here's their criticism of the Taco:

quote:

The Tacoma’s ruggedly handsome looks and available off-road gear don’t really make up for its tight interior and so-so fuel economy.

quote:

The Tacoma’s functional and purposeful interior blends a little style in too. The Tacoma’s ride is plush, but we find seat comfort to be sorely lacking

I’ve determined that there are two primary questions potential pickup buyers ask when they show up at the dealer. Number one: Do you have a bigger one? And number two: Can you finance me?

Actually, yeah. The Colorado/Canyon is superior in just about every way.

Tacos have a good following though, that and no competition for years, is why they were able to build the exact same truck for like 13 years.

The GM coming out is why you guys have a new Taco....so be thankful

Crock of shite. While antiquated in design, the Nissan Frontier is the best one of the bunch and the most capable if you actually abuse it like a "truck."

You spelled Tacoma wrong.

Except in terms of how long it will last and how much abuse it will take, which is why people love Tacomas.

Funny how defensive all you Tacoma drivers get when your beloved Toyota doesn't get the credit it's due.

The only reason the other trucks even exist today is because of the Tacoma. The other manufacturers realized they were getting their asses kicked by the Tacoma and left the market. Now they just get back and you want to crown them the king of the segment?

The only one that stayed in the market is the Frontier, but the Tacoma is a better truck.

I recently came from Ford to a Tacoma. No biases whatsoever as I've never owned a GM or Toyota product, but the Tacoma was by far the best option in this category. They own the category for a reason.

I drive a 2007 Taco and it has been more trouble than it is worth.
