Your experience is an outlier, they do happen.

I have owned 5 Toyotas. Their quality is overrated, imo.

The Corrolla I owned was a great car, though. Probably the best built.

After driving a GMC Sierra I'm still shocked when I go over RR tracks in my 2013 Tacoma and it doesn't rattle.

Toyotas ride terrible, imo. You feel the road way too much.

Might be a you issue. The 4Runner I had in high school was a tank. I tried to break it with a supercharger and lots of drag races and spillway trips, and it just kept on kicking.

I've had several Toyotas between my family and my wife's family, and none have had major issues. This is all anecdotal of course, so your mileage may, and apparently does, vary.

My corolla has been fantastic, my wife's camry has been a nightmare. I'm fairly certain that her car is just a lemon, though, since there have been so many issues that even Toyota couldn't figure out how to fix.

I think that's good. A tight ride is the opposite of sloppy and that's great attribute for a trail truck. With the manual it's all around very nimble.

Also, I'm about to be in the market for a midsized truck and I think I'm actually going to look into the Ridgeline after reading this thread. Wasn't planning on even considering it before today

Yeah the Corrolla is such a trooper. Those things will ride forever. My Avalon was okay. Not great. Taco has been the worst, though.

Chances are I won't go back to Toyota. I think their quality is overrated. I don't see how they can be head and shoulders above every other auto manufacturer.

They aren't, you are on a web site with bunch of alphas that think theirs is better than yours. It's all about each individuals reality.

I don't even drive a Toyota at the moment (wife does though).

If you consistently have shitty Toyotas, it is likely a you problem. The stats back that up.

I love people that make personal attacks instead of acknowledging the facts presented.

I never said they were all shitty, just one. I just think their quality is overrated. And I've owned enough of them to give as good of an opinion as you.

Personal attack? Guess I missed that, saying it's each individuals reality is far from a personal attack.

You implied that I was immature with your "grown men and emojis" thing. Just own it. No one really cares.

Where did I say you hurt my feelings? I merely pointed out that you moved the conversation to a completely useless direction by "attacking me" instead of anything I said.
