I was just about to post how ridiculous his new building looks From the interstate, it is very "look at me!" with the massive G.

EDIT - I don't know a single thing about the guy himself. Just referencing the building.

How about extending the prescriptive period from one year to three? So many suits are filed because the client is still treating a year after the wreck.

To be fair, i dont know the man. He could be a nice guy but his building is ridiculous and from the outside seems narcassitic.

I'm sure he's a good dude just trying to do something different for advertising.

I'd stay away from any plaintiff atty who advertises on a bill board. IF you can get past the initial call screener, whose job it is is to weed out the small potato claims ( funny how so many of the "little people" they claim to represent fail here ) ask her if the firm uses a chiropractor as its main treating physician. She answers in the affirmative, move on. Ask if an atty will handle your case, NOT a paraglegal...which is illegal anyway. Do find out exactly what their fee will be, including all expenses they will front.

You may not have gleaned it, but it is a comparative thing and not based on your subjective experience.

Louisiana is #4 in fatal crashes per mile driven based on latest IIHS numbers and while we're only 16th in uninsured drivers, the $50,000 jury threshold is often cited by insurers for why we consistently rank among the most expensive states for automobile insurance (we're #4 this year based on one site's rankings).

This doesn't support your made up points.

Exactly, not the bad drivers nor the uninsured.

If the insurers are so concerned about the jury threshold, and litigation costs, why don't they just support an extended prescription period? there is (or was) a bill pending this year. Not sure what happened to it.

As it should be. One year is entirely too short. I file more to protect than I do because there is a genuine disagreement between an adjuster and myself and we need to get defense counsel involved.

God I hate people. I got in an accident a year ago. I was fine, but my lawyer was like, you sure you aren't hurt? I'm not about to lie about some shite to frick someone over. My insurance company handled it like a boss, other guy had go auto and it was like pulling teeth with those fools.

I know there are legit reasons needing an injury lawyer. But damn people abuse this shite. Even if it is their fault, they will try to get money out of the situation.
