It's a human activity

Hence. It would never be perfect.

There are no "perfect" systems

You're right. Capitalism is the worst economic system ever created, except for all of the others.

Unions, OSHA, and minimum wage is the only thing keeping wages up. True capitalist would say let immigrants in to replace you for 1/3 the wages!

If an immigrant can take your job you should make yourself better

Uhh... you know there is more to the economy than plant baw regulations.

... or maybe you don't. That's more likely the case.

I'm sympathetic but even I have no idea what you are rambling on about.

neither capitalism or socialism is the problem. People are the problem. Everyone is selfish and greedy.

I employ 29 people everyday. No one that works full time for me makes less than $15/hr. I hire high school and college kids every year as extra help during the summer. It ain’t OSHA or unions keeping American wages down! It’s a lazy arse entitled generation we are producing in this country. Want a check, want to be manager, need Thursday off because their dog has an appointment, and Friday because 5 straight days of work is stressful and requires medicine for them to endure!! 14 of my employees will make $50K + this year and 4 or 5 will make $70K. Everyone of them are commission jobs, like most every job in my organization. But we struggle to find young talent because they want NOW. They want to play on their phone all damn day, struggle with a 40 hr work week.

Just FYI, I grew up dirt arse poor, single mom raised! Graduated 235 in my high school class of 390. I’m what capitalism is all about. If the government would get out of our way we’d add more locations but they punish us with income tax, payroll tax, inventory tax. huge permit fees to build/add on to our business.

I worked in a plant with union employees 20 yrs ago before I started my own business. Unions are a protection for shitty employees and not much more. Good employees don’t need their protection!

Are the poor getting richer or poorer year to year?
If richer, why is disparity bad?
If poorer, what, in your opinion, is the root cause?

Question: does it matter?

Is the better question not, “How are our poor doing as compared to years past?” Because the answer to the second question tells us our poor today are even ahead of our rich 100 years ago, let alone the poor of socialist or other countries. Disparity grows while overall quality of life increases.

Got a better idea than freedom?

You my friend are probably only worth 2 dollars per hour.

I am paid on what I produce, and I wouldn't have it any other way. frick a union telling me what I'm worth.

Well this is just fantasy

Unions have shrunk to the point they're irrelevant economically and virtually no one makes minimum wage meaning companies already pay higher than what is required by law
