Our elementary school sent out a note saying no valentine's.
They are going to "embrace friendship and kindness days, which are more inclusive for our diverse community."

Remember when being the majority mattered? Who the frick gets offended by this? Kids get free candy for a non-religious holiday. frick this world.

Meanwhile, the minority-opinion tards are out en force trying to undo the electoral college. So, sometimes they like majority rule, just not allll the time.

Schools still selling Carnations?

Or did the losers complain and get that canceled too?

Honestly with how much candy has traces of peanuts I think that’s great. The candy your kid likes could literally kill another child that is legume sensitive. It’s not about your kids rights it’s about doing the right thing

How else is the cute girl in class going to know I have a crush on her if I don't give her a special Street Sharks Valentine?

Yeah when this country had some balls. I’m all for taking care of the weak but as soon as the weak started taking the kindness for granted we should have shut it off.

That’s our VDay and Halloween policy here as well.

When I was a kid we did not put names in them, only signed our name.

But we definitely dud candy and store bought

Oh no, they aren’t going to be able to properly celebrate commercialism without shitty mass produced cards.

Then the other kid just has drunk daddy and all his cards will look like shite and have a streak of copenhagen or a beer coaster ring on them.

Oddly specific.

This. They are all going to look like shite and the whole thing will be a waste of time.
Weird. The kids should be making the cards themselves. Better than being buried in a device - or watching Daddy buried in his own device, bitching on TD about something so stupid.

I remember in like 5-6th grade we would send out pink red and Purple Hearts. Pink was friend, red was love, purple was sexy.

Man that led to a lot of hurt feelings for some kids

People are going to eat and have peanuts around other people with peanut allergies. Up to those with peanut allergies to protect themselves, not the rest of the world
