It's a cult. It has all the signatures of a cult. You must repent. You must isolate yourself from your grandma who voted for Trump. You can commit violence in the name of the cult. You can create your own rules and social mores within the confines of the cult

Just the way they've redefined the word violence is a perfect example of the cultist state of mind. Burning, looting, and destroying property is not an act of violence but merely not saying a word on a certain topic is actual violence.

And you forgot the most important and most grievous sin of the cult - apostasy.

You think mmmmmmmbeer has done anything remotely close to Drew Brees?

These opinions right here are enough to send him to the gas chamber and he doesn't even realize it:

I lean left but I cannot stand "cancel culture"....it's counterproductive and un-American. Art, especially given the way it's used to capture certain moments in time, should never be touched. We can't turn into book burners. We can't ruin livelihoods over differing opinions, regardless of the topic.

The Jake Fromm deal, where a friend had held onto text messages for 2+ years, should not have happened. That was a personal conversation without context, thrust into the public eye as a "gotcha", and his reputation suffered. That's bullshite. Drew Brees was simply expressing his opinion and even got very personal in explaining why he feels the way he does. He shouldn't have been attacked for that opinio

Keep all of your old books and dictionaries. Don’t throw them away.

They are changing the definitions of words now. Keep them to show your children the true meanings of words and the copyrighted dates.

The most vain, arrogant people I know tend to be virtue signaling leftists. On a base level, it has become an easy substitute for having any real moral code. Rude to people in everyday life? Cool. Virtue signal online and donate to bail funds? Virtuous.

The only thing keeping normal, middle class people shut up is that they’re comfortable. They have jobs, Netflix, amazon prime, etc. We are one real economic disaster from that thin veil being lifted.

This post is offensive to me. I demand you resign your job, and donate all of your money to BLM cause.

That seems to be the telltale sign that they've been fully engulfed.

They have no problem ruining the lives of a perfect stranger in the most vile way possible but will post on social media how the world just needs love and they square that in their minds without thinking twice.

Crime committed by blacks is one of the biggest causes of racial issues in America, because whites don't want to trust some blacks. In turn, blacks won't trust whites because of the arresting of these criminals. It's a perpetual cycle.
Until blacks, and whites, too, raise their children to really know right from wrong, teach them no one owes them anything, and hard work will yield results, society will not be able to be changed and improved

Judge ideologies by their fruit

A huge swath of the left are just absolutely miserable people. They hate themselves, they're rude, they literally abandon their parents for voting preferences, etc. When mainstream lefty publications have to write 50 articles about how to survive dinner with the people who raised you at holidays - doesn't that tell the story?

For two decades people said "Oh they will never get to this point." And slowly, grain of sand by grain of sand it did. This last week has been the exception. That was a wash out. The trick was they changed things so little by littlish that no one really noticed what was happening until it reached critical mass.

I am white and I am not apologizing for nothing.

If Blacks want respect, don't do the crimes, that simple.

I got up for 40 years and busted my hump every day to provide for my family without committing crimes, why cant they.

Cancel Culture first got on my shite list when they attacked Ozzy Osborne, WASP and the 2LiveCrew in the 1980's. The MPAA was another aspect of it. It's a very, very old problem with countless faces and incarnations.

Cancel Culture is a new buzzword for a common weakness in humans: the need to get into other people's business affairs and the need for approval from others.

We super-charged it when we started putting "Like" buttons on everything. Meow-Meow Beenz.
