I’ve seen three overturned vehicles this year and consider myself lucky if I don’t see a reckless driver at least once a day.

Half of the drivers on the interstate in BR, their sole mission is to follow as closely as possible to the driver in front of them. One small hiccup in traffic flow and the chain reaction of additional backups is perpetuated. Allow some space, sheesh.

Instead of enforcing actual moving violations all the cops are writing seatbelt tickets at 7:00 am when everyone is going to work and school while in full kit. I guess average joe taxpayer is an easy revenue stream.

People follow too closely. If you put sufficient room between you and the car ahead of you, another idiot is gonna squeeze in there. No matter how much room you leave, someone’s gonna do it

I think citizen should be able to take a photo or short video of offenders of this and upload it to some state police site that automatically fines the ever living crap out of the vehicle owner.

Shockwave, or phantom, traffic jams. The Japanese figured this out a couple decades ago. Most drivers are incapable of pacing themselves, they speed up and slow down, speed up and slow down until people start getting on their brakes and eventually traffic slows or comes to a stop in places.
The solution was a robot pace car. There are a few YouTube videos on this phenomenon.

Three overturned vehicles? That's not bad luck. That's lack of enforcement. People drive like maniacs because there are zero consequences. Bring back traffic stops. Bring back tickets. Enough is enough

I absolutely agree. But practically how do you do it? What is the speed threshold? Someone going 5 over cruising in the left lane? Ok. But what about the people going 20 over in the left lane that never get over? Is it not the same thing?
