Yep 3yrs for 6M yesterday

That was a term sheet not a contract.
quote:

Let’s fricking hope he does. We don’t need him calling the offense with no oversight from Lane

After everything that has come out the last few days I think Weiss is the nerd that watches film and makes the game plan. Lane just sits there and when he sees something he interjects.
He has signed a term sheet that is an MOU. He is most likely interviewing for the USF job. The report of the 3 year contract was premature.

Lane probably won't allow him back now because of his ego.

Therefore, we will be allowing the contracted LSU OC to coach them in his stead.

He hasn't signed a contract. It was an offer sheet. He is going to interview for USF.
Chasing his 25 year old ex GF who dumped him to Texas the week of the Kentucky game last year.

FAU is not in a power conference.

The sky is blue. What does that have to do with anything?

Never played for a conference title.

He played for 2 at FAU and won both.

More fan fiction. This is probably a bamafan.

And NIL deals will have to be run through a clearing house.

That started in August. It won't last when it gets challenged in court though.
quote:

You mean the coach that publicly complained about how much LSU spent leading up to the game?

You got a link?

And Kelley was either using the Rev Share total (to hide the amount of NIL they have) or that 18 million is on top of Rev Share to make it 36 Million LSU spent on their roster.
quote:

every NIL deal needs to be approved through a clearinghouse...

0 chance this holds up in court when challenged.
MIchigan did it with your QB commit.

A&M with that "greatest HS class of all time" a few years ago did it.

Phil Knight wants a title before he dies. They are invested heavily and why Lanning has no interest in leaving.

No one has gone that extreme but yeah people are out spending people to try to win a championship.
quote:

I’m fully aware of this, you mental midget. Apparently you cannot comprehend that I am not referring to rev share.

You were the one talking about the last 4 years pre rev share and throwing numbers around like it was fact. When it absolutely is not.

Ole Miss has been on the frontier of crowd funding. You can look up article after article of how the Grove Collective is a model tons of P5 schools are using as examples.

LSU just wants their big money people to do everything. You don't understand how the game is played.
quote:

I’m talking about collective funds across rev sharing you fricking dunce.

This doesn't mean what you think it means. Let me educate you.

Each conference school gets 18 million to pay salary for their athletes. No NIL requirement. Show up and get paid.

NIL is on top of that and was formerly run by collectives. Now the collectives help guide NIL deal to players. They are the go between.

NIL and Rev share are 2 different pools of money. If you can't figure that out then you need to go back to 9th grade.

These contracts pools these school are claiming are Rev Share +NIL combined to make the number look bigger.
quote:

No, they haven’t. That number is just now being hit. The average across all of P4 right now is roughly $13 mil. 4 years ago Ryan Day told his boosters the best roster in the country would cost $13 mil.

There were only two programs that spent more than $20 mil this year. Texas and Texas Tech. LSU spiked and got close this year. Ole Miss spiked and got close last year.

You are completely full of shite.

Athletic departments and collectives don't disclose what they spend. If you are getting info from online sources it is wrong.

So you are telling me that EVERYONE in the conference got 18 million to spend August 1st and the only SEC school to go over 20 million was Texas ? It doesn't even logically make sense. You have no idea what you are talking about. Go do research on Rev Share. You have no idea how it works obviously.

If you are saying they spent 20 million on top of their rev share then I would buy that. But zero chance 20 million total for Texas.
quote:

Imagine believing Ole fricking Miss is spending more money, on average, than Texas for the last 4 years.

Your research is way off. Texas and A&M have spent way more than 20 Mil a year.
quote:

This is all bullshite. I actually have done the research, which is how I know you’re just making shite up.

Ok man. Be wrong and be arrogant about it. But you want to be right. I know I'm right. Have a great day.
quote:

$20 million every year.

Well you are flat out wrong. that big A&M class with Walter Nolan and them cost 25 just for the high school class. They had portal NIL on top of it. You have no concept of the scale of these numbers. Do some research.
quote:

It’s not even remotely close to true.

I'm sorry that LSU just discovered NIL in the last 12 months but that doesn't mean that the rest of the conference hasn't been playing it for 4 years now.
