Yes. It’s not that hard.

Sure. I've done it with no issues.

Every girl I would consider a friend, I would also bang given the chance.

It’s a personality flaw of mine. I won’t be friends with someone if they aren’t hot.

Yes, if both people are trustworthy and keep appropriate boundaries.

Yes. I had many girl friends. I let a lot of them go once I got married but kept the ones I knew longest that I never hooked up with.

Frommy experience as a guy the close "friendship" with the opposite sex is usually a front because you want to be with them but you can't (her being in a relationship being the roadblock). It's pretty dangerous my friends, it can go 50/50. You can get the mission accomplished or you can be stuck in the friendzone. Basically no matter what, the friendship is a facade.

Took five pages for someone to post the correct answer. Sad.

Yes, I have several, and so does she. We both know how to separate friend from relationship. It is not that difficult if you aren't a total basket case. If you are jealous, then you are in the wrong relationship to begin with.

One more thing, just because you may find said friend attractive, does not mean you ever will act on that. You do know that you are the master of your own emotions right? We are not animals. If you can't control your ID, then you have no business being in a relationship to begin with. Same for your partner.

She’s a good looking woman, of course I want to. But I have respect. I have a code. Don’t frick your friend’s wives. Don’t be a home wrecker. Learned that lesson already.

Of course. I watch my wife's son each week while she hangs out with her close guy friend. Only bigots would be worried in this day and age.

It’s a bad situation and I would think that if you want to stay married avoid putting yourself in bad situations.
Boys and girls can’t be friends.

I’ve never had a friend that was a girl where there wasn’t sexual tension. That tension only leads to two places: the sack or drifted apart.

Gotta say no.

It's easier to develop a friendship when they're off limits.

My friends in this category:

- Engaged when I met her, now married. Objectively very attractive but my mind doesn't go there. A little too much of an age difference and with her already engaged, a relationship was never a possibility.

- Married with three children. Know her from church. I'll admit I scoped for a ring when I first met her and was very disappointed to see one. Would definitely date her if she were single but she's off limits.

- Married with one child. Attractive, but probably wouldn't be on my radar if she were single. Bonded mainly over talking to her about her daughter and my niece.

- Someone I managed at work. BIG no-no. Also a great friend but not a good personality match for dating.

- Single when I met her. Love at first sight .Unsuccessfully attempted a long distance courtship, but we're still friends.

- Divorced, great body. Out of all of them, this is the one who's a yuuuge source of temptation.

I did upgrade a besty to girlfriend a few years ago. Unfortunately that didn't work.
