Call for more fall netting at ballparks

That’s all well and good until a frickin bat comes flying into the stands

They need to do something to protect against line drives, especially with the MLB messing with the ball the way theyve been the last few years. And the netting these days is barely visible.

I get the die hard "just pay attention" argument but if I'm at the game with my kid I know I wont be able to stay 100% focused thru the entire game. Doesnt mean we deserve to get hit with a 100+mph liner

You can't pay attention 100% of the time. What if you sneeze right as the ball is hit

There will be more netting, and you will deal with it, and nobody really has a problem with it.

For 100+ a ticket, you should be able to be drunk and looking at your phone without being thwacked in the face with a line drive.

Literally the one human that didn't react to the bat in that picture is the only one that ultimately needed to

OR, don't be a cheap arse and get the tickets that are behind the nets if you really care about your kid's health and welfare.
