Worst advice ever.

This I agree with. The Shed is absolutely horrible. I don't understand why people rave about this place.
When I’m on the road I always look for a Catholic Church. Always open, bathrooms clean, no disturbances. And I tell my wife they have great water for handwashing on your way out! ??

Abbott needs arse called out as why he allowed Colony Ridge.

Because they contributed money to his re-election campaign. Wheels always plays the optics.

I think I'll keep my donations to myself

I've been saying this. Very much a possibility after the Buckeyes knock them out this week.

Thanks for the advice. Probably would be best to go ahead and get fitted.

I’m most interested in PXG and Calloway. Thanks again.

PXG and Callaway pay a lot for advertising. Take a look at MIzuno, and if you really want to drop a dime and get some great irons, consider Miura.

Cocaine isnt addictive.

The routine and the fact you like it might be addicting but you arent actually addicted to the substance.

Ive never seen someone in rehab for weed or coke.

Probably the dumbest thing I've ever read on this board, and there have been plenty of stupid comments. I hope the cocaine comment is sarcasm. I worked on a drug unit and dependency on cocaine is real.
Screw her. She didn’t worry about private people getting paid when they shut down the economy in 2020. The government is too big. Let them not get paid, I could care less. Let them experience what they put us through, almost losing our business and spending our savings. I despise every single person in the government.

On another note, on the couple of days that our golf package had early tee times, my son and I went over to the starter in the afternoon and were able to play the other two courses at St. Andrews, Jubilee and The New Course. It gave us 36 holes for a couple of days. We had those on our rotation however, playing them 2x each made it a lot of fun.

Also, we added a day to the front of our trip to give us some time to walk around St. Andrews and shake off any jet lag before we started playing. It was definitely worth the extra money and I highly recommend that extra day. You can also head down to the driving range and get in some practice, they also have a nice short game facility.

We plan on going back in another year or so and bringing our wives. This first time was just a Father/Son bucket list. We've played a lot of courses around the U.S. and the St. Andrews experience by far exceeds all of them. It was nice to be in a place that respects the game the way it should be played. Don't expect any motorized carts, loud music, or beer drinking on the course. It is still a gentlemen's game over there and will 100% bring you back to the roots of golf. It's fantastic.

They have opened a new course, links style. I prefer the old layout, but that's just my opinion. We've been 2X and both times it took over 5 hours to play. My experience both times equal, overcrowded, groups of 5 that are very slow because they can't play, lots of drinking and loud music from carts. Not my kind of golf. Course was in good shape and it's not a bad layout. Maybe someone has a better experience.

Went with my son in June ‘23. Absolutely fantastic. It is pure golf. The restaurant at the Old Course Hotel is fantastic.

We all hate Guilbeau but give him credit..

He advocated for Billy, and now we all must eat crow. Fact, Billy > BK
Lumberton, Port Neches, Groves, Nederland

Stay away from Beaumont, Orange, and Port Arthur
Abbott is useless and has been for years. I'm sure if a deep dive was done, it would show the owner of this apartment complex donating to his campaign fund, similar to the owners of Colony Ridge in Liberty. I'm amazed that people still think Abbott is an effective Governor.
We pay them now, it's called welfare and medicaid. Adding another entitlement to the current system is proof they want it to collapse, quickly.
