So we’ve got carve-outs by race, carve-outs by sex, and now carve-outs by sexual preference. In short: basically anyone / any thing that isn’t a heterosexual white male is qualified.
Wild thought: award the contract to the most qualified company with the best bid.
Crazy talk, I know. But this is also the state that burned $200 billion on a light rail to nowhere, so merit was probably never the plan.

So you can identify as any gender you want and a man can subsequently walk into a girl's locker room with no problem.
But in order to identify as gay, you need to fill out paperwork proving it?

Hold up, so an acceptable form of proof is three personal contacts writing letters saying you're gay? I feel like any guy has three friends that would be willing to write a letter saying "yeah he's gay" lol

That's bullshite, but you never know what you run into with the government.
Several years ago I was reviewing a RFP for a state agency for a large project, and it clearly stated that the winning contractor would be paid after a minority owned contractor was paid 10% of the contact for project management. I called the agency and they confirmed that the "management" consisted of submitting the completed project from the contractor to the agency.
That's when I quit working for or with DOT.

It’s not going to fly but it’s starting the process of moving the conversation along towards normalizing legal homosexual status so that all of the special rights and privileges can be legally bestowed upon them along with protected status so you can be charged with “special” aggravated charges if you so much as look at them wrong.

Looking at the checklist, I can't wait to see all the articles stating LGBT status (for a price) or the doctors and lawyers letters attesting to LGBT status (also for a price).
