CA high school basketball team has state title taken away because of tortillas

CIF is also requiring all Coronado High School administrators, athletic directors, coaches, and student-athletes to complete a sportsmanship workshop that will include a component of racial/cultural sensitivity training.

We used to throw tortillas on the field after scores at ASU football games in the 80s. But, we were CELEBRATING our southwestern roots.
They put the kaibosh on that though because of the hassle of cleaning them up.

I think the team should pool their money and have a new trophy made. Make it in the shape of a large tortilla.

I was reminded of the time we played a largely minority school in football and they threw foods lacking in seasoning onto the field. I felt so angry.
