True.

And I can’t think of a single girl who wants those ugly chocolate stones OR anything pandora

If my wife was that materialistic, she wouldn't be my wife anymore.

I got a plain simple silver Pandora bracelet a few months ago for working 10 years at my hospital. One of the things I told my husband he could get me for Christmas if he wanted was a couple charms for it. Stressed to him only simple silver charms and none of those overly gaudy ones that they sell for like $80-$100 each.

Otherwise I would have never asked for it on my own.

And yes...chocolate diamonds are fricking ugly.

Well, I guess

was proven to be more effective than "buy your wife thousands of dollars of jewelry and you'll get laid!"

Too many baws had already learned from experience that wasn't true.

I can’t really talk. Some of the stuff I want is almost as expensive as jewelry. But it gets used everyday and I usually just buy it for myself.

All the ladies here can say whatever they want, but none of them will have dry panties after opening a little blue box.

That is always our issue, we just buy stuff for ourselves when we want. So makes it more difficult come Christmas time.

Which is why my husband is getting a bunch of clothes for Christmas from me this year(that is specifically what he asked for to clarify). He already bought all the fun tech stuff he wanted within our gift budget and couldn't think of anything else he wanted.

The only jewelry I’ve ever bought for my wife is her wedding rings.

She’d much rather travel than receive any kind of jewelry.

No thanks.

I’m not an easily-impressionable dope. They can say whatever they want about my frugal arse.

I’d rather have a new bridle since mine is starting to die. That wrapped up in a little blue box, yes.

Take your kids to Disney or you're a terrible parent. Marketing is made for the poor lemmings.

Nothing wrong with that. Bought the wife a very nice high dollar ring, but a the same time I bought a new offshore fishing boat for myself. She still has the ring and I sold the boat. I couldn't use it anymore.

Probably true. Tiffany boxes spark better emotions than Kay boxes. I buy Tiffany for myself & then masturbate.

You could also get some crappy low quality "chocolate" diamonds, otherwise known as "shiny brown rocks".
