Recently picked up a new leather backpack off Amazon.. for the last 10 yrs plus ive used a High Sierra nylon backpack which has held up ok.. but wow is this bag an upgrade.. it’s heavy (but not too heavy), has a great smell and the perfect amount of pockets/space.. havent used it yet but in the process of planning a trip now just so i can use it lol.. i live overseas so with shipping it cost me over $200.. id never heard of the brand but it had awesome reviews; im in my 40s so im hoping this is an investment, and the last backpack ill ever buy .

I’ll be in Mexico, in Decembe, a friend resoles my dress shoes. I’ve seen a few of these at his place. Might look at something close.

Generac is garbage, air cooled bullshite. May be good for a few short hours here and there. But when you need power for weeks without the headaches get the liquid cooled Kohler ftw.

I am. Thus my post above. I just don't fly fish. Gotta post on the OB for anybody to know what you're talking about.

I've been on quite the tool swap kick. Researching quality and replacing China. For example, channellock pliers, estwing hammers, milwaukee USA-made commercial power tools, etc.

I bought a Snap-On ratchet in 2012. Felt dumb paying $100+ for one tool, but it’s buttery smooth and hasn’t failed once. The cheap sets just don’t feel the same. That and a decent torque wrench = game changers.

Luggage can definitely be worth it. I got the TravelPro Platinum Elite large suitcase about 6 years ago and just recently had a wonky wheel. Brought it in and the guy replaced it same day no charge. He also did a little tightening on the handles.

My Briggs and Riley carry-on is a beast. It's more quality and more expensive than TravelPro for sure. When I eventually replace my large suitcase, I will likely bite the bullet and get a Briggs.

My husband bought a very expensive Flint and Tinder waxed trucker jacket. Then he lost weight. Anyone need a Barbour jacket in a 3X?

Beretta Silver pigeon 20 ga over /under
$1100 25 years ago was crazy money for a young man.
Now it cost $2600 depending on version.
Mine is as good a new and worth the high price, if lost it would buy another.
