Aren’t liquid cool about 3x as much plus install is more expensive?

We have 24KW Generac. It has ran multiple days on a few occasions. I let it cool 30 minutes a day and added some oil when needed. No issues.

If you say so, cooked on it all fall and its been great.

Breakfast, chinese, fajitas, steak etc several times. Smash burgers were amazing, just did them last week.

Have to keep the temp set low for most things cause super low setting is like 350 degrees , but it works perfectly fine. I'm not cooking anything lower than that.

While I get your point, there is nothing on that list that is not extremely good quality, objectively better than most in the sector, and lots of them are lifetime purchases.

For example, I have carried my Halliburton briefcase for 33 years now, that's over 8000 days of use. It is still distinctive and still looks and performs like it did when I bought it. I only cried once.

Filson gear. Concur.

Barbour jacket.
Custom suits
Custom shoes and shirts

Powermatic woodworking machines
Pre-64 Winchesters
Belgian Brownings
Pre-1980's Colts
Steiner Binoculars
Any Zero Halliburton case
Leica M6
Hasselblad 500C

Pre-2024 Toyota Land Cruiser
Lexus GX 460
Air-cooled Porsche 911

All are expensive. All will last forever if maintained, and thus represent great value.

Anything less is not worthy of your eminence. Save-up and buy once.

They aren’t what they formerly were.

Up until about 10 years ago, they were unreservedly wonderful.

Spotty sometimes now.

I’ve had to return some since then due to size and/or workmanship issues.

The no-iron button down oxfords are my go-to. The non-iron capacity lasts about 30-40 launderings.

When they are right, they are right.

Went from generac 24KW that was 10k total install to the Kohler liquid cooled 24KW that was about 20K installed. I don’t think the install was more expensive. The generator was about double. It also weighed nearly 3X as much and to be fair I already had the gas line right there from the Generac, so it could have reduced some costs.

I don’t care though because the Generac was overheating, always throwing maintenance codes and just generally an overall total piece of shite. I threw it in the trash it was so bad. Will never buy another one.

Also to be fair, the Kohler hasn’t really been tested for an extended period, but I’m confident it will go for weeks if needed. It also came with a complete 10 year warranty.

I recently got this. Pre-lawsuit Behringer Centaur. Every video where they did a side by side comparison with the $5K Klon this one sounded exactly like it. I'm really loving it.

1930's Lionel standard gauge trains are great examples of something that cost a lot of money but was of great, lifelong quality. This is a 30's standard gauge set - very large. It was found in an attic. I oiled it up, and it ran like a top. The set was $80 during the depression - quite expensive. Modern Lionel is mostly made in China crap - it has many fine qualities but durability and reliability are not there. There is too much technology.

Moore and Giles leather products are well made.
