Dating in 2025 is wrecked. Women are able to support themselves now, but all it created was expectations that are too high compared to decades ago.

I was looking at her Instagram. Dating someone like her has got to be the most exhausting thing ever. Wants to be famous and takes 20-30 pics every time she goes into a new room.

And these women aren't happy and single women being available for married men isn't a good thing either.
Marriage is a society wide thing and it must be a majority for it to actually work. Divorces, marriages, etc. All happen in group clusters for women.
Even the trans stuff has been happening to clusters of women.
A single woman is competition for married women, single men are competition for married men.
Anyone who believes they're immune to this is just lying. Your wife/SO can see with her own eyes ,or a quick download of a dating app, what her prospects are if she wanted to leave you.
It's absolutely terrible for societal stability.
Get married, get your friends married, protect other marriages and allow others to help protect yours.

I want to apologize if I came away seeming harsh on this issue Quite frankly, I haven't tried dating since the stroke, and so my memory of this is all pre-pandemic.
I will say I have noticed that people are more irritated and less forgiving out in public, whether it be the grocery store, a restaurant,t my new neighbors, or even trying to get some business done over the phone, which has never been pleasant, but these days it seems impossible
So might I suggest that it's not really about dating but that we took a hit as just a society with the pandemic shutdown the fear the disruption of our lives the endangerment of children and the Miss Socialization of at least at a minimum two years of our life
I don't know if that's an observation or maybe a helpful suggestion for those looking to date Everybody is more sensitive. Even if you think you're not you're surrounded by a bunch of people who are and that can't help but rub off on you
