Wonder how many times this will happen.

Only four days after its inception, the Burrow Road sign has been taken from its post at the intersection of Highland Road. The road, dedicated to LSU championship quarterback Joe Burrow, was unveiled on July 12. On the morning of July 16, the signage was gone.

Surprisingly, his name being used did not go over well with some people.

Stealing signs has always been a nice right of passage

I have a collection of signs my dad took down many decades ago

US highway signs, a few interstate signs, etc

The good ole days

I had a Nambu pistol that my dad got from a Japanese soldier he took down on Okinawa.

Unfortunately it was tragically lost by me recently in a freak boating accident.

Why wouldn't they put a camera on it? And announce on every local media source that there's a camera on it. Then next time it gets stolen, go arrest the idiot.

Or, put it in the budget and make about 500 of them and just keep replacing them as they get stolen? Let the kids have their fun and get some memorabilia.

If they were smart their initial order would have been 100 Burrow street signs which would hopefully get them through the first semester.

I’d 100% steal it.

CORRECTION: College me would have stolen it. Today me would depend on the number of beers consumed in advance of the opportunity.

The city should make large numbers of them, and sell them to boost revenue to offset their losses, since St. George got voted in.

A purchased street sign means nothing. It has to be stolen to mean something.

In the very early 90's, I drove a Dodge Daytona. I promptly stole a Daytona St sign immediately upon finding out it exist.

I was kinda talking with a girl named Chelea. I came upon CHelsea Lane in the middle of nowhere and offered to steal it for her. She thought I was an idiot and politely declined.

Girls think differently than guys, I guess.

Woke burrow demanded the sign be taken down as it was a sign of white supremacy in college sports. It had to go.
