Had a couple of co workers years apart that went to Rochester Instutute of Technology which is also home of the National Technical Institute for the Deaf. Both independently mentioned that everyone on the floor knew whenever someone was hooking up w a deaf girl because they had zero volume awareness/control during sex.

When I was dating I’d filter out anyone who is a single mom for fricking sure. Also wouldn’t swipe on fats. Disabilities im ashamed to admit falls into a no category

Worked as a grunt on a renovation crew doing demolition at Louisiana School for the Deaf in the 80's. Apparently they would write notes to each other on the walls because there was lots of crazy sex stuff written everywhere. Made this 16 year old permaboner want a deaf girlfriend very badly.

Maybe she figures most guys will immediately ghost her on whatever dating app if she tells them up front. So she probably wants to let a guy get a chance to know her in person and hopefully have a good enough time that it'll outweigh her being deaf.
If she has hearing aids or can lip read well enough to hold a conversation with someone, its not that big of a deal.

we used to play Louisiana school for the deaf in football. They made the craziest noises when hitting or getting hit...tough kids also
