I wished I own a sandwich shop right beside them. I would have a sign that pointed and read :
frick those guys
Eat here.. ICE agents eat free.!!

Thats going to be labor intensive, there are lots of places in town that arent trading with ICE/DHS.
Maybe, but these clowns chose to make themselves famous on instantgram or wherever. If they had simply locked the doors and refused service, that would probably ended it there. They decided to poke the bear.

I....don’t hate people for coming to the US to seek opportunity.
You know who else "seeks opportunities"? CRIMINALS. ILLEGAL INVADERS.
What if they trespass into the US illegally?
What it they are directly and indirectly stealing resources and jobs from American taxpayers? Destabilizing the peace in established communities and in every American institution?

I also have massive concerns about the current operations that the administration has taken and disregard for legal procedure.
Do you also have "massive concerns" about illegal and forced entry of America's sovereign borders by hordes of un-vetted foreigners?

Fun fact: you can disagree with one policy and still support others of a politician!
It doesn't matter who you support if you openly condone the invasion of America and theft of the citizenry's wealth and security.

Private businesses should be free to serve whoever they want.
Of course. But that is not currently the law. And I doubt these people would want that to be the law of the land.

Only 5 percent had a violent criminal conviction.
Only that many were caught.
ONLY, is not the operative word. That they are or were still here is a shame and embarrassment.
We can only hope that (unlike the UK) they get sent home, even if the home country doesn't want them. (In the UK that would be enough to force us to keep them.)

How about this one?
NOLA.com is running an article on the front page about how grade school attendance is down because of the immigration sweeps. So that means that illegal alien children are a significant portion of public school attendees.
I know from speaking to teachers that major resources are being spent on ESL courses daily. That's English as a Second Language.
Their parents, the illegal aliens, aren't paying into the tax base that funds these schools. American citizens support those schools. Is it fair that the children of american taxpayers are receiving less resources because those resources are being consumed by the illegal alien children?
Don't argue the emotion (they are innocent children!). Argue the facts. Illegal aliens voraciously enjoy the fruits of the american government. Schools, healthcare, public assistance and they don't pay into the system. That is a problem for me.

Also, since when do we support forcing private businesses to serve everyone?
Well I mean this is a progressive belief, and they're progressive store owners, so shouldn't they follow their own beliefs?
'
Otherwise that might be rather...hypocritical. And we all know progressives are never hypocrites.

Brothers doesn’t want to open themselves up to any kind of investigation.
They are and always have been shady. Feds will take them down.

You would think minorities are too incompetent to survive without being "protected" by the government.
Soft bigotry of lowered expectations.

I don't know how Orleans and Jefferson fund their schools, but most places fund it based on property taxes. Someone's legal status doesn't impact their paying of property taxes. I would proffer that someone who is illegal paying property taxes is contributing more financially to the education system than someone on Section 8, but the argument isn't that we should deny someone on Section 8 access to our public school system. On top of that, sales taxes, vice taxes, etc are paid by everyone no matter their status. I don't have a link or facts, but just from personal experience I would put the amount of people here illegally with work permits or ITIN's at like 80%, meaning they are also paying income taxes.
quote:
healthcare,
Totally valid argument on this one. Again, my proffer would be that they strain a broken system just like a certain class of American citizens do by not paying medical bills. One other thing to remember is that even if the parent is illegal, a child who is a citizen has access to Medicare.
quote:
public assistance
We should drastically cut all public assistance. Making the work requirement was one of the best things Trump has done this term. Again, I'm a registered Libertarian but vote GOP mostly. I want as little government spending as possible.

Especially the Cato Institute:
The Cato Institute openly states it has a bias: it is a libertarian think tank that promotes policies advancing "individual liberty, limited government, free markets, and peace".
They will cherrypick data to "prove a point"

And 100% breaking the law by being here illegally.
I know...its difficult to wrap that brain of yours around the fact they are ILLEGALLY in our country.
Go do that shite in Mexico and see if they hook you up with free housing, food and medical.

If they are here illegally, then they are a criminal... PERIOD
No problem with those who want to go through the legal process of becoming a citizen. I know several people that have.
