That said, we desperately need to address transportation infrastructure in this country. Roads and bridges are not in great shape.
Then maybe they should introduce a bill to actually focus on roads and bridges, instead of 3% roads and bridges and 97% bullshite and pocket lining

Thanks for ignoring the first half of my post that literally said why it currently isn’t passing.

nice try Kamala. this clooooose….
if i’m reading the tea leaves correctly.
Kamala is pissed Joe is attempting to pitch her off to fill that Supreme Court seat so she had some of here BLM/Antifa buddies she bailed out from riots ready…
Which would end her impressive journey of falling upwards considering her sketchy past, record as a judge, and inability to accomplish anything meaningful.
So, she was going to have the bridge collapse when ol Joe was going over it. This close to Madam President CamelToe

I mean Republican or Democrat the infrastructure in this country needs fixing. I dont think there is any argument about that. How do we go about fixing it is the problem.

That's what happens when the potato removes bridge weight limits.

Unlikely as all get out. Snowy Friday morning an hour before the sun comes up in Pittsburg PA?
There were three passengers on that bus.
Question, though, was that bus running early or late?

Meh, they could get another 20 years out of that bridge.

If you've ever driven through Pa. they have the worst roads. Especially for Interstates. Not surprised by this.

If you've ever been to Pittsburgh, you know the roads are shitty.
I lived there for several years, and yes, the roads were in terrible shape. A lot of it is due to having a continuous freeze/thaw cycle in the winter that does a great job of making potholes. People in Louisiana complain about the roads but they need to see Pittsburgh roads after a tough winter.

The first thing that got me driving in PA is the absence of clear signage. I guess they take the attitude that if you don't already know where you are going, you shouldn't be driving there.

Things like this wouldn't happen if we could just do away with the bridge load requirements and get our shipping back on track.
This. Highlighted the irony of this in the poliboard thread.

How about srarting with allocating more yhan 10% of the entire infrastructure bill to fix the shite. What a joke that bill is.

Yep. If you're not from there or do business there a lot, when you come out of the Fort Pitt Tubes your head will explode when you wanna get on 279 but instead get sucked off and head into the Strip District instead.
