How is a labrador retriever even on that list?
I mean, I've been around some pretty jacked up labrador's because I've participated in field trials (and worked at a veterinary clinic for two years while in college) but even the jacked up retrievers were very friendly.

Wrong. Pits are bred to kill in dog fights. The breed should be extinguished. They kill more humans than any other breed many times over. Trash dog.
Your statement is false. They are bred to catch game. However the trash society make them fight.
Either way, no one should own one unless they understand one day they will catch.

I clicked the link and it doesn't mention a pit bull?

Thread got off to a great start (pic and all!) but then turned into yet another dog argument.
We have a beautiful golfer here to discuss and all you want to do is have another dog fight.

You think a yorkie bite is gonna cause this chick to miss several weeks of golf?

And if you add up labs, German shepherds, etc, it’s more likely than not she was not bit by a pitbull. Thats how stats work

Some of the friendliest dogs I've been around are Pitbulls.
Yeah, sure, everybody says that till the switch flips in their pea brains, and they decide to eat the neighbor's kid with their massive jaws.

Wut?
Do you leave a loaded gun on the kitchen table with kids in the house? Do you believe in property rights?
I say frick you if you think I can't have a particular breed of dog just like I say frick you if you think I shouldn't have a gun. I keep my guns in a safe, just like I keep my dog contained. Stop being a smooth brain and quit blaming the gun.
The people whose dogs get out and hurt people should be put in jail.

That's fatalities, as much as I don't like Pits, little ankle biters probably dwarf them in overall non-fatal bites.

Pits only make up 21% of dog bites in the US according to insurance reports (German sheps were second at 20%)
So 79% chance she was bitten by another type of dog

I think you're on to something.

If she focused instead of taking boat selfies and getting bitten by rando dogs, perhaps she'd be better.

I love great danes but they can really get pissed off and their bite can be devastating. I've owned several but none of them ever bit a person but a couple killed other dogs if their dander was up.
