Yeah I have been seeing this on fb. What’s the deal? All the pics I have ever seen it looked like Biloxi but with waves.
I might need to drive down there.

Photoshop!
Growing up around that area it’s always been brown water.

I’m not surprised. After all, everything is better in Texas.

There was some sort of shift and water was brought up from the south, so none of the mud from the Mississippi and other rivers is currently reaching the island.

It’s something to do with the storm pushing the river runoff to the east instead of west

All those melted glaciers and polar caps bringing in the good water.
This was big oil's real plan all along.

I’d have to see it to believe it...in person.

Saw an article yesterday briefly. Is there a current pushing Mississippi River water a different way than usual?

One of the news channels had a video of it on their feed. It’s oddly a big deal I guess.

The one time I went in the ocean in Galveston the water looked just like it did in Alabama. This was several years back though. The only difference I saw was a lot more shite floating in the water and the waves were monstrous. If you weren't paying attention and got knocked with one you were definitely going to be doing some tumbling underwater

Nope. It’s real. But only temporary.
The bay silt will be right back when currents shift to normal.

Anyone been to gulf shores lately? It would seem that the water there would be darker if the current is shifting.

Yep, I seen it. Blue. To bad, the beach still looks like dogshite though.

It isn't so bad once you get out of the town and south of the seawall.

Not sure. Let me ask one of the cabana boys that watch my beach houses while I’m away.

You let those potheads watch your properties? Not smart.
