You have a beach house in Galveston? I think that’s where my maid has her beach house.

I'll be there tomorrow and hopefully will still be nice. We'll likely be on the beach section that is just on the other side of the Ferris wheel pier in the pic that you posted.

Took the family there last Sunday. I've never seen it like that.It was nice. There wasn't any seaweed on the beach either. Weather was nice with only a slight breeze. Easily the best fun we have ever had at that beach.

Anyone been to gulf shores lately? It would seem that the water there would be darker if the current is shifting.

Been in Fort Morgan and Gulf Shores for the last week. Can confirm. Brown water.

On a tangent, one of my favorite YouTube videos is when Geraldo Rivera gets knocked over by a wave on the seawall when Ike was starting to hit the island. The firefighters started laughing at him.

It was in that same area.

I'm in Orange Beach right now. Water is blue, but you can see scattered pockets of brown at times mixed in. It's sand. After spending time in the water, you'll have sand in your crack. First time we've ever seen this. I guess now we know why.

I've seen it so clear you could see the bottom in 8 ft of water back with the dirty pelican and mecoms piers were still at high island.. water cleared up about 3 weeks ago and we killed the trout.

I lived in Houston for 9 years and fished down there regularly, I've never seen that water anything but brown.

This has to be fake, trying to pump up tourism for the summer

Once all the people show up it will look like chocolate milk

Still won’t drive all the way there when I can be in Gulf Shores in the same amount of time. Sorry Texas you don’t win this one.

It's a sign from Jesus that our time is over. Soon, sea creatures will be walking the earth. We are all doomed, enjoy the last days...
