Have they paid St. George back the money that Sharon Hyphen Broom stole from them? There was a court order to pay it back.

Spending that much money on wide sidewalks on that specific stretch feels like a questionable allocation of funds compared to other major infrastructure needs in the area.

Considering all the pedestrians & pedestrian fatalities in that area, I’m sure they were forced to do something.
They’re also repaving the entire stretch which was badly needed. Their sidewalks are just an added touch.

When they shared this with the public the paths were separated from the roadway by ~20 feet of grass.

They did this in Gulfport, MS. The low income, homeless and in some cases “disabled/obese/lazy” folks can get around on their scooters. It looks really crappy with vagrants walking up and down Hwy 49.

They're still going to walk in the street and dart out into traffic. Mayor Coach needs to stop catering to these people.

Something on my pipe dream wishlist for BR is a lowland trail/boardwalk starting at the lakes/Wampold Park and generally following Bayou Duplantier all the way to the paths at Pennington. Offshoots could connect it to all the subdivisions that back up to the Bayou. This would get some serious use.

Why don’t they do the sidewalks and crossings by the overpass area?
Why in frick city are there new crossings in nonexistent neighborhoods near Exxon?
Why did they make a sidewalk down airline near scenic where the only creatures on it are stray pit bulls?
