Why don’t they do the sidewalks and crossings by the overpass area?

Are you going to give criticism for this project as well

MoveEBR in St George

Or

Sidewalks in St George

At some point we have to realize that these programs are meant to benefit everyone in the parish not just our part of parish.

Not sure if it's true or not but I was told these new 10' wide sidewalks are to accommodate 2 wheelchairs traveling in opposite direction. They put them on Juban Rd too.

$60,000,000 is easy when it’s taxpayer dollars

LOL. Uh, no.

Maybe not in your neck of the woods but I can assure there are pedestrians walking up and down Burbank and West Lee daily.

On West Lee they are often in the road because the vacant lots are overgrown.

10’ sidewalks is how you keep the atvs off Florida. You have to accommodate the culcha, or it’s rasis.

Is this so the boys on bikes can ride on the sidewalk?

I’ve been seeing this work on Florida Blvd. There is a regular size (about 3 ft wide) sidewalk being laid a few feet away from all the shoulder work being done. It seems pretty nice actually, and I bet there will be a lot of scooters and e-bikes using them when it’s finished.
