I'd rather die from a mindless animal than killed by a hood rat for being white.

Ah for the days when we could just call it Jellaire.

1978 Alum here.......was partly responsible for it being called "Jellaire"

I've explained multiple times that we are statistically more likely to get shot or killed in a car accident in Baton Rouge than killed by bears in Montana.

This is what happens when women encounter bears. Dr Naomi Wolf Vs Bear.

I've lived around them for 25 years, they're far more predictable than hood rats, and less dangerous.

The difference is I kind of feel sorry for the bear if I have to shoot it.

Your wife needs to understand that 15-28 years old black males are the most dangerous animals in North America.

This is a true statement for anywhere in BR with the exception of Scotlandville or old BR around McKinlley. I remember those days. Also back then you could actually go in those areas and not worry too much about getting mugged or shot

Some of you Baws probably went to school with LL's mom.

I left BR in 2001. A few months before I left, I went fishing down the bayou with one of those Sartin baws.

Yep. My Uncle lived in that area around Old Hammond & Goodwood back in the 80's & 90's. That was a really nice area then. Wouldn't want to be around there after dark now.
