my wife doesn't want to move up north because she's scared of grizzly bears and wolves. I've explained multiple times that we are statistically more likely to get shot or killed in a car accident in Baton Rouge than killed by bears in Montana.

I've lived around them for 25 years, they're far more predictable than hood rats, and less dangerous.

My mom grew up on E. Black Oak right there, and my grandparents lived there until I was in high school and my parents forced them to sell their house and move to Central.

It was already changed a good bit when they moved, but I wouldn't even drive through their neighborhood to see the old house these days. We still visited and whatnot up until they moved.

Yeah it's gotten worse but that area back there around Belaire has been hood for a long time.

That’s the edge of where ghetto meets middle class. I’m not surprised at the location but I can see how some would consider that to be a decent area not long ago. The bitter cold of Wyoming looks better and better with each passing murder around here.

I was going to say Baton Rouge is becoming like that shite hole New Orleans with the carjackings now but that’s a shite-tass area. In New Orleans you can get carjacked in the nice areas.

BR doesn't have an interstate sniper, so we have that going for us.

That’s close to Cristy Dr and Harco Dr, both extremely dangerous areas in BR, on par with Mall City.

The deceased is Hispanic, aside from the carjacking, tPOS targeted him because they know many Hispanics carry large sums of cash on them.
