Siegen Marketplace

I'll add Siegen Village where Twin Peaks is. That entire shopping center and parking lot is trash. Very unorganized and Garbage everywhere, a lot of random tenants, and now homeless people roaming it.

What is the deal with the roads in that place? They've been horribly maintained for decades.

Yeah, I’ll never understand the love. A dark, cramped restaurant that takes 30mins to serve grease in the shape of pizza, and only accepts cash. I guess for a city that prides itself on its traffic it makes sense.

Not as awful as the food. Most disgusting excuse for pizza I've ever had.

I believe Seigen Marketplace is now inside the city of BR as they annexed it. In the deal the roads went from private to public. This means now the City of Baton Rouge tax payers are responsible for providing the road maintenance along with putting up street lights maintaining them. Seems like the City of Baton Rouge needs to keep up with their road maintenance.

It somehow tastes like Spaghetti-o’s in pizza form. I don’t dislike it, but its popularity is confusing.

Wasn't that long ago it was simply a country lane. We used to go swimming in a borrow pit that was directly across from St. George Church. Good times...

The fleur de Lis hate is confounding. It’s one the best and unique pizza places in BR along with Pastime. Whoever said they are ordering dominos instead is an idiot. You can’t be serious

It’s unique but in a bad way. Just the fact they only take cash is annoying unless they’ve finally changed that policy.

This place is an absolute dump. It's one thing to become dated, but this place wreaks of filth and lack of preventive maintenance.

It's gotten worse? We had my oldest's b-day there in 2011 and it was already heading down.

Who owns the joint? Let's see what else they venture into around BR?

all it has going for it is nostalgia

100%. It's like The Pastime to me. Neither are as legitimately good as they once were(not talking about the way you remember them 20 yrs ago) and they haven't evolved.

There's way too many newer and better pizza options in my professional pizza opinion.
Hell Domino's and Johnny's carryouts are better than both those BR mainstays.
