Well of course. Statistics utilize math, and as we all know math is racist.

Therefore statistics are racist.

It would seem like offering free tutoring and head start programs would be a far superior idea

Can’t wait to watch the south be invaded by more yankee leaches because of policies like these.

Canceling advanced classes is easy. Trying instead to help the lower performing students is much more difficult and might require some changes in how things are done, so the school district can’t have that, naturally

I’ll never understand why people with jobs and capital investing in the south is a bad thing? That’s the exact opposite of leaches, which is exactly what the south has a plethora of.

That is socialism/communism is a nut shell. Only people elevated are the ruling class or the politburo

I agree, but the fear is that Northeasterners and Californians both continue to vote for the same politicians and policies that cause the problems they ran from.

Let's be very candid, there are quite a lot of people bought into this ideology, and they're the enemy.

They're in a cult, and it's a cult that says if some aren't successful, you must be anti-success. People who promote this stuff must be shamed and purged from society.

"that sounds similar to how they talk about Trump!" - you

Yeah, but Trump supporters promote an ideological brand within a liberal society. These people do not - their brand is to destroy liberal society. You can't sustain a liberal society if you allow anti-liberalism to dominate institutions, and that's increasingly where we are.

It crap like this that start people going to other districts or if public going to private schools.

It’s not race but the dumbing down of standards and trying to hold back smart kids regardless of race. Most kids that do well have parents playing a large roll in that success particularly early on who are also involved with school in general like PTA and other activities. When they leave it’s creates a large vacuum.

They’re not coming with capital for the most part. They’re coming with bad ideas and a disdain for southern culture.

I'll go a step further. Statistics tell the truth. And in America 2021 the truth is racist.

I use leech because they’re a drain on infrastructure, local judicial systems, health care, and public school systems.

Deeply disturbed by the statistics is a correct feeling. However, the action to cancel the advanced classes is even more deeply disturbing as it is exactly the opposite of the way to correct the problem

You’re an idiot. There’s no problem, it’s a merit based program and those were the demographics that merited it.

You’re not doing the 30% of AA/Hispanic kids already in honors classes any service by virtue signaling a bunch of kids who aren’t smart enough to be there into the programs, effectively fricking over every kid who actually made it there by being smart and working hard by exposing them to disruptions and slower learners.

Diversity for the sake of diversity benefits no one and it’s embarrassing that there are people out there who are ignorant and delusional enough to think like you

Keep on widening that socioeconomic gap, idiots.

Like the AP kids’ parents won’t pull them out and put them into private or charters.

I'm glad I did and I am happy I made the choice 5 years ago to home school them here in Texas.
