Boomers are destroying the Boy Scouts

This decision was made a while back, so it's not really new news.
But, let's be clear. It's the boomers who years ago raped young Boy Scouts, altar boys, etc.
The cost of being a Scout has skyrocketed in the last year due to massive insurance increases because of having to pay out all these settlements. It's more expensive than ever to be a scout, which is putting pressure on scout parents, and causing more kids to not be able to learn the values that Scouts teaches you.
All because some current boomers, 30-40 years ago, were sick individuals.

Why not just get a group of kids together with their parents and take them camping?
Teach them how to tie knots and stuff like that. Build a fire.
Stuff you should be doing with your kids anyway

Scouts will cease to exist unfortunately in 5-10 years. They are mortgaging some of their camp properties to prepare to pay out on these sexual assault lawsuits. That with all the SJW crap and falling enrollment will take them to bankruptcy. Sad to see.

Lot of country boys have dads that do that.
City boys... not so much.
There's also a leadership development, and learning to work with others, dynamic that dad can't teach on a hunting trip.

Most kids who are in Scouts, especially Boy Scouts, aren't still playing sports. Most middle school / high school athletes, aren't still in Scouts.
