How much a year to live in Bogalusa all year and you can’t leave the city limits?

It’s a symbol of American greatness.
That means zilch to this punk.

Maybe they just wanted to remodel and that this was taking up too much space?
Nothing against the Statue of Liberty, but that huge thing would be really out of place in a courtroom.

Agreed that the Statue of Liberty is not something that should ever grace a government building It’s a curse cast upon us by France whereupon there was an invitation placed upon it to bring us your poor, broken and otherwise needy so that we, the taxpayers will have to take care of them! Why would anyone want such a statue?
Wut lol

Jadayoungin would sneak back into the halls of Bogalusa Jr/Sr High school reeking of weed and fan money around like the pic previously posted and let little kids "touch 100's" When he'd get reported to administration and the cops would be called he and his "bodyguard" would run out the back gates while holding their pants up. Couldn't believe I saw that with my own eyes on a public school campus. Nothing to do with the statue removal directly but....

Kids that have never seen a $100 bill before... Definite sign of how poor of an area Bogalusa is.

Punk better watch out, though. The Genco family is connected, if you know what I mean.
This definitely was the rumor when we were kids. Everyone was scared of them. Once we I got older we realized they are nice enough people.

1500 people voted in the election. 700 were probably related

This guy sounds like a petty a-hole.

Don Corleone owned the Genco Olive Oil Company. Just to be clear I'm not saying anything against "the family" nor the Genco's.

Wut wut?
You actually think the Statue of Liberty belongs in a government building?
These are the words expressed on the pedestal
“Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,
With conquering limbs astride from land to land;
Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand
A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame
Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name
Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand
Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command
The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.
"Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!" cries she
With silent lips. "Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!”
