He survived but is he okay? No nerve damage or paralysis?

Is he OK? I want to know because I want to laugh at that stereotypically black black woman at the end.

If he didn't fully recover, I will refrain.

Pretty sure he stated his name in the video. Glad that cop is ok and he had someone with him until help arrived.

The officer recovered. His neck injury was severe but he survived.

And why do you want to laugh? It sounded like she was probably family. In a small town like that, imagine running up on someone you love in that situation.

Almost two years later, Smith’s arm and neck have healed and he’s almost done with physical therapy.

“I take it day by day with the support of friends and family and everybody else,” Smith said.

He’s still on medical leave, but he hopes to return to work by the beginning of 2018.

So yeah, he was very severely hurt.

She obviously knew him. You could hear her say his name in the distance.

Can you imagine seeing someone you love and care for in that type of situation? Woof.

So police should be quick to pull the trigger if you fail to obey an order?

This officer is doing just what BLM and all the Hug a Thugs say officers should be doing. Just walking along with the guy, repeating verbal commands and using a Taser and look what happens.

Yep. My only comment, without police training, is when it seems he gets close enough to the guy and he still won't stop walking, could he have lunged and tackled him?
