he was there for almost the entire leach tenure at tech. was also at army the same time as bill parcells. those two became lifelong friends. he was friends with leach as well.

think about the times we live in and contrast it with coaches like parcells, knight and leach. better times. wish coach leach was still around to carry the torch.

When I read this, for whatever reason, Ted Knight popped in my head. I was thinking "Hasn't this MF been gone for more than a minute?"

He's been dead since '86.
