BLM protest about to kick off in Mt. Brook, AL

Crestline Field (which happens to be fenced in--I guess the city likes that). Mostly college aged white girls. A few look fairly normal, but most are obviously not from the neighborhood. A lot of nasty leg and arm tats, bad hair, weight issues, etc. Kind of pathetic and sad that they really think this is about black lives. Useful idiots I guess.

Will do. Will let you know when they start shooting tear gas and rubber bullets.

More interesting is the rumored KKK rally tonight in Birmingham

Been hearing about that, but for the life of me I don't know where they are going to find any. Do people seriously think there are still KKK members around? I am betting there won't be any tonight or at any other time.

Daddy's position at UAB medical/Regions was just a result of white privilege.

You should show up with a sign that says "Will frick for virtue points"

Protest or lotting and rioting? Hard to tell the difference now.

This a popular rumor for each and every one of these protests across the South. I’ve seen it on Twitter for Houston, New Orleans, Atlanta, and Baton Rouge. It’s bullshite pot stirring.
For example. You think the KKK is going to drive thru Houston traffic from the sticks to come threaten hundreds of protestors. Yeah, okay.

Pull them hoods off and they will all look like Clayton Bigsby

It is perfectly fine if what they want remains a protest. There's no problem with that.
Pay attention and see if it gets out of hand.

If every rumored KKK rally came to fruition, we'd all be sleeping on bare mattresses.

Daughter wanted to go to this, but my work got in the way. We’ll probably go to the one Saturday at Railroad Park.

I still haven’t even seen where this is coming from. I mean I saw the UAB closing due to threats of violent protests, but nothing about the groups planning it. All I’ve seen is people claiming it is KKK, but no backing of that claim.

I saw screenshots of some Facebook group this morning about showing up at protests with baseball bats and whatnot. Not sure if that’s where it started from. But it was going around Twitter last this morning. Couple with the city putting fences around Linn Park and Woodfin getting death threats, I think people’s imaginations just ran wild. Friend works near Linn Park and they closed his office at 1 with little warning and no explanation. That certainly didn’t help.

Which stores will you be hitting first?
