There's a black owned restaurant near me that always has provided me shitty, rude service the few times I've been. I don't know if it's because I'm white but I was just about the only white guy in there both times.
I just won't go back but I'm not going to picket in front of the building or anything

Maybe he was tired of getting ripped off..
For some reason i am reminded of the incident in Arizona where the little girl stole the Barbie Doll and white libs were saying: "Its just a doll.", when they knew all along it was a whole family of thieves and showing babies that it's ok to take what is not yours is acceptable to some...
Then libs blamed the Cops for pulling guns...

If I was in the market... Guess which gas station I wouldn't buy?

I would like to know if the contract had a requirement that he sell to a black buyer. This would violate federal law and probably Georgia law. It would be no different than offering a house on the market with a requirement that the buyer could not be black.

I am really troubled by the fact that the protest organizer is the one who has the option to buy the property. The feds on to come in and investigate the organizer for racketeering.

. I hope someone organizes a GoFundMe for the store owner so that he could destroy the store rather than sell it.
Why can't he sell it, then come back at 3 a.m. and destroy it? I bet there would be no insurance.

Then they’ll bitch when there’s no one selling gas in the neighborhood.

Protests started in mid-October after a clerk at the store was caught on camera saying, “I don’t give a [expletive] about the Black neighborhood.”
The store’s owner, Rahim Sivji, apologized and parted ways with the clerk. However, Jones said they continued to protest due to claims of racism and abusive behavior customers reportedly experienced over the years.
This week, Sivji and Jones signed a memorandum of understanding in which Sivji agreed to sell the store, with an option for Jones to buy it. As a result, Jones agreed to end demonstrations outside the store while it is on the market.
Uhhh....Isn't that extortion?

Congrats on losing a place to buy gas etc. BLM could buy it and it would be bankrupt in 6 months. Idiots...
Posted on 12/24/20 at 4:30 pm to ThereGoesHerschel
because it was never about shutting it down - it was about forcing the person to sell it to the guy organizing the protests - just a different form of Blackmail (Pun intended or not, it is there)

For liberals, racism is a fetish and a fantasy. shite like this will never end bc they’ll never allow it to end.

So does that mean if some people don’t like a “black” store, they can assemble outside to scare the owners away?
Maybe burn some big lower case t’s for “time to go.”
Oooohhh, and maybe they could do it in something scary. Like a ghost costume.

Black folks don’t even support their own.
As soon as one gets ahead, they realize that there is a valid reason those people are being left behind
