Interesting. I wonder why that is. I also wonder how this relates to insurance rates.

Systemic racism. Blacks have been beaten down by the white man for so long they can not afford newer cars with higher safety ratings. Their crashes are more severe and require medical attention.
That number should be higher but systemic racism has also prevented some blacks from getting the medical care they need.

They think it’s easier than getting a Dr appointment. Most of the ones that go to the ER don’t have insurance so they use the ER as a Urgent Care Clinic.
ETA- as far as the car crashes are concerned, they’re trying to get proof of the “injuries “ they got during the crash they caused. Gotsta get that insurance moneys.
