Hard eye roll from me. Substantive change is made in real life. Facebook isn't real life. Blacking out your facebook profile picture does nothing to drive meaningful change and serves no purpose other than to signal your virtue to others and make yourself feel like you're a true ally.

Changing peoples hearts doesn't change overnight. It can be a slow process. You don't have to agree with everything BLM stands for, but you can show love to your black brothers and sisters. Having kindness isn't a bad thing.

Go frick yourself. We should have never shut down and the data is continually proving that.

As for now, do you want riots, looting, and general destruction?

The point is you can do that without attention whoring on social media. Which is what the majority of people doing this are trying to do. This along with the prepared statements by average citizens is cringe. Incredibly narcissistic.

Good replacement for Craig's list for selling stuff. That's it.

Men are 20 times more likely to be killed by police than women. This stark difference applies no matter how you break it down. For example, white men are 10-15 times more likely to be killed by police than black women.

Systemic racism is a red herring. The real problem is systemic gender discrimination.

I will stand in solidarity with my brothers by changing my FB profile pic to a cock and balls. I encourage men and women of all backgrounds to follow me.

#BlackoutTuesday

Pat McAfee posted this and he canceled his show today. He's turning into a joke. He's been going on little political rants and shite lately. When I finally thought I found a halfway decent sports show that would only deal with sports, this shite starts happening.

How much longer until people on social media who aren’t interested or actually disagree with these type of social media trends are publicly shamed, called out, or threatened.

Seems like a legit question. I’ve seen sentiment close to it on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook

Even if I believed in it I wouldn't do it

It seems so pandering and stupid

Bunch of white kids using the most vapid thing possible to express solidarity

I think it's hilarious. Black Lives Matter to some of these whites yet won't step foot in New Orleans East or North Baton Rouge to love and help their black neighbors in those areas.

Did you not follow Pat McAfee before this all started? He’s the poster child for combining politics and sports.

You're late to the party. I've had mine as my main pic for 3 years now.

I posted a bright blue square?

I'm expecting these black squares to end rioting and looting from now on

No, I started mentioning that in my first post but erased it.

I just saw all this when I googled his show to see why it wasn't on and his Twitter popped up. I just started watching on YouTube about 2 months ago.

I wish AJ Hawk would do a show with someone else. I've noticed Pat has to always be the center of attention. Often times it's very child like too.

I’m glad they’re doing it. Helps me identify the people I know who are truly dedicated to the cause and who are full of shite.

If you really care about the cause forget the black tile, post your receipt from your BLM donation. Then you can virtue signal all you want
