I think it's a way to show support to your friends of other races that you stand with them. You don't necessarily belief every time a black person gets killed it's racist or injustice, but it's a simple way to show love and compassion for your friend who is hurting.

Jesus the virtue-signaling white people are just the worst. This new fad on facebook for every white person to post some bullshite heartfelt message along the lines of "I never knew how much damage my silence caused. I should've spoken up. I should've stood up. But I failed my black brothers. My white privilege has given me an unfair advantage. Blah blah blah..." I don't think I can roll my eyes any harder than I have the last few days

The narrative has switched from OMG I need to get my nails done lets open back up because only elderly are dying. Eff them I need my nails done.
Now they are going to the narrative of all lives matter. Yet 3 weeks ago it was eff all the elderly and immune deficient. Really cant make this stuff up anymore.
