It will be nice when this trend dies off.

Yes everyone knows that some men (and some women) are scumbags, but 90% of this crap is nothing but heavily exaggerated, faux outrage.

Have you heard Tyson talk to people he disagrees with ? He’s respectful and persuasive. We need more of that not less.

Bitches be bringing down everybody. Dude from CBS, Charlie Rose from CBS, of course I could go on.

I always question when I read "inappropriate sexual advances". If someone makes a sexual advance and the other person accepts it, it's not inappropriate, but if someone makes a sexual advancement towards someone who isn't interested, is that then considered inappropriate?

It's usually creepy weirdos who are cornering their subordinates with the implication that rejecting the advance will produce negative consequences.

See: Harvey Weinstein, NDT, Matt Lauer, Bill O'Reilly etc etc etc

In December, another woman came forward in a Buzzfeed News story that claims Tyson drunkenly propositioned her at a 2010 staff holiday party at the American Museum of Natural History in New York, where he serves as director of the Hayden Planetarium.

Other allegations aside, what is the problem with this?

Not gonna lie, dude came off super creepy.

I hope the allegations are false, though.

Another lifelong dork with no social skills gets a little money & fame, but doesn’t have any game to capitalize on it.

Honestly, nothing except that she wasn’t interested.

Had she been interested, it wouldn’t be an issue.

But not always, see Aziz Ansari. And those other men were MUCH more powerful than Tyson.

Either this is a mistaken mashup of names, or I see a pattern in the way Neil deGrasse Tyson hires.

Basically, any man who has ever put the moves on a woman is guilty.
