People need to stop caving to this garbage and start fighting back. A simple of explanation of what it was and why it was done should have been more than sufficient. You could also point out that by the mom trying her best to make this a racial thing will probably cause a lot of riders not to throw to black people for fear of offending someone and being called a racist.

Isn’t that why Comus and Momus no longer roll? Refused to give in? I read the crew members have been removed from Tucks. I wish folks would boycott that parade next year.

Lose a half.dozen riders and this mostly goes away. Sucks but a lot of riders come and go.
Also as long as the rider goes without a fuss the smoke may die down and he can come back later.

So I saw that the Krewe of Kucks terminated, permanently, two riders. Even after learning that they had purchased 60 barbies, 30 black and 30 white. I hope all the black whiners love getting NOTHING next year. No rider will risk being called racist. Congrats, you've earned it.

I guess the bottom line is we’re still talking about New Orleans shite and the new mayor is probably only going to be marginally better than the previous ones. This was a chance to show courage and leadership and she chose to pander. JP Morell also showed his arse here. Somewhere else and it may have been resolved logically and rationally.
