Sundown towns are an anachronistic bogeyman much like the KKK. In the past, sure they existed, but they are toothless and damn near extinct in modern America

I made it 12 seconds before I knew all I needed to know. I could go into details but it speaks for itself. The truth is that White people are in more danger going into Black neighborhoods, or in our case in SE Louisiana, going to the Black side of town. That’s not some outrageous statement, it’s the truth.

I worked in w Illinois and Michigan around Detroit and there were areas we weren’t allowed to go to. And stay the hell away from e St. Louis we were told.
Her biggest danger was getting a bad look or comment, our concern was getting robbed and murdered. Pretty big difference there.

Sounds like the people that believe Lake Lanier in Northeast GA was built solely for the purpose of flooding a black town and killing people in Oscarville. Even though the town was mostly white at the time the dam was built. I have no doubt that Cumming, GA and all of Forsyth County was a sundown town 50 years ago, but not anymore.

So she was told this? By whom? There are whole swaths of Caucasian home towns and cities that have been sun up ad sundown towns now for decades. Literally made us leave generational homes because of the theft and violence from her same skin tone. Miss me with the made up racial bullshite that will come like an avalanche for next 5 months
