It’s been done twice already, the first time with Clint Eastwood called Tightrope... and the second time with Dennis Quaid called The Big Easy.

Yes, NOPD is notorious for corruption. Multiple LEOs have told me about NOLA cops killing their own partners to cover up dirty dealings.
