Happened at a restaurant back in the early to mid Nineties. One cop had another killed. Also constant video of the cops shaking down businesses in the French Quarter

frick Hollywood.

I say this without needing to view the film that their perception of facts will be skewed, and any semblance to reality will be purely coincidental.

About as corrupt as NOFD taking down statutes

Police depts, sheriffs and politicians are on the same level of corruption from Lafayette to Shreveport to da Parish. It’s a statewide problem.

Oh, then it must be from the Chamber of Commerce to prop the city's reputation up.

NO police as corrupt

Only when nobody’s paying attention. Once in a blue moon somebody will notice a cop pulling an armed robbery or trying to pay for a hit on a witness, and then it’s time to play it cool.

That show really sucks. I've tried hard to like it, and it's just stupid and very unrealistic in every way imaginable. Plus, their version New Orleans is fricking irritating.

In the 90s the local coke trade was ran by some NOPD cops. One of the most gruesome murders, the Kim Ahn killings was done by a gang affiliated cop.
