#UPDATE Biloxi PD issued a press release for the incident involving a naked man who was shot last night in Woolmarket.
PRESS RELEASE: On Saturday, May 23, 2026 at approximately 2000 hours, Biloxi Police Dispatch received a 911 call in the 11000 block Woolmarket Lake Road. The caller advised they were not at home but observed on their Ring doorbell camera a naked, white male emerge from the Biloxi River, walk up the stairs of their home, and enter their porch. Dispatchers noted there were multiple calls from the area regarding a naked man.
The homeowner contacted their next-door neighbor and informed them that there was a naked man on their porch. The neighbor walked next door and made contact with the naked man on the porch, telling the man the homeowner asked him to check on the residence and asked the man if he needed help. At that time the naked man charged the neighbor, hitting him. The neighbor fired multiple shots, striking the naked man, but he continued attacking the neighbor. During the altercation, the naked man disarmed the neighbor and walked away from the home, back into the water.
Emergency vehicles were unable to access the area due to heavy flooding and officers had to be transported to the area via boat. Upon arrival in the area, officers were able to make contact with the neighbor, who had facial lacerations and bruising. Officers were also able to review the video from the home’s security system, which recorded the entire incident.
A search of the area was conducted via Rescue Boat for the individual. The body of the individual was located on shore in the general area in which the incident occurred at approximately 0200 hours on Sunday, May 24, 2026.

Did AI write this? Who uses military time in a news article?
or maybe the author didn’t know what 2000 hours was and was too lazy to look it up..

Gotcha, thought something was off, it reads like an article, but not quite…
But it does say “press release”. I dunno…
I guess the press just copied and pasted as well..
Lazy fricks….

Strong contender for thread title of the year

I think we all watched enough cartoons growing to know exactly what happened: man comes in contact with some industrial waste or secret material, transforms into a monster living in water, travels the drainage system, then when killed, he reverts to his normal self, even wearing his glasses again.

That's pretty much the only reasonable explanation
