Yep. They’re pissed people dared to question not only their authority, but the accuracy of their statements. Bill Burr knows the only people that would find this joke funny are these types and they happen to be the same demographic that watch late night talk shows.

The joke was the he doesnt care if you get vaccinated, go on get covid if you want, who cares. I am vaccinated and dont care if you get covid or not. You're only potentially hurting yourself and those around you who arent vaccinated.

I can somewhat understand the hesitancy to take a new vaccine that was rushed, but it seems to be a fact that the vaccine is a lot less dangerous than getting covid.
People are having issues with covid 8 months later where they cant taste, smell, or breathe right, people have committed suicide months after getting covid because the symptoms they still had were so bad, look up the CEO of Texas Roadhouse.
The vaccine is not nearly as bad as getting covid, it's not gonna turn you into a zombie.

But you're not.
And that's the point.
Antibody tests have shown the the infection rate was higher than previous thought. A lot higher.
Reviews of cause of death have shown that it was repeatedly reported as the cause of death even if the person was merely covid positive. So the death rate was lower.
Math is hard.... But last I checked a fraction with a smaller numerator and a larger denominator denotes something fairly important.
