When I was in college I was playing Blackjack. drunk as crap and betting $500 a hand. I was dealt a Queen and a Jack and my buddy convinced me to split them. Some kinda way I was convinced to double down after splitting. Luckily for me I ended up winning both hands as the dealer busted. Walked away with a good chunk of change.

A lot of misunderstandings in this thread. The OP stated what is the biggest bet you made, not what i the most you have made off one bet.

I've had over 1K spread across the craps table at one time.
Largest single bet? $800 on red at the roulette table for my 21st birthday. I brought 2 grand with me, lost all the way down to 100 with the first three hours of a weekend-long trip, and just put my last 100 on red. Let it ride all the way up to $800, hit red for the fourth straight time, took my $1600 bucks, and spent the rest of the weekend at the strip club.
At least I had a chance to get my money back at the casino.

Not at a casino but I Was drunk last New Years and bet a few friend $25 a piece that clemson was going to cover against bama. I was talking a lot of shite and another friend comes in hot, tops my casual bets with another $250. Ended up with 350 on that game

Lost 600 in one hand. Was playing 200 hand at blackjack, hit pocket aces against a 5. Split. Got 19, pocket aces again.split. Got 19 and 20. Feeling awesome.

2-300 on blackjack a few times for my brother's bachelor party.Won enough that night to cover all of the costs for the trip to Destin for his wedding the next week.
