Wasps, or wasts as they're referred to in some southern circles.

Or more specifically, perhaps yellow jackets or hornets.

Mockingbird is a good choice, but my vote has to be for the Red Wasp....

I dont know of anything that eats them, and all they do is cause pain and misery. Not to mention they are agressive.

I hate them.

Mud daubers can decapitate and eat red wasps, but it's usually the other way around.

And it sucks because mud daubers are the unsung heroes of the wasp world, they don't bother humans and all they eat are very poisonous spiders like black and brown widows and brown recluse.

Unfortunately daubers are often confused for red wasps or another stinging insect and killed, even though you WANT them around. They're known to have more than 20+ captured spiders in their nests at a time ready to eat and feed their young, they are prolific venomous spider hunters

Crows are assholes. Used to watch them gang attack mom and dad birds in all the surrounding trees while their buds swooped in and flew away with the baby birds to eat.

Had a big owl nearby for awhile who specialized in killing and eating crows. Loved that owl.

There's been a few incidents involving fishermen and orcas.

Crows for sure. Ever see another bird chasing a crow? Look close at what’s in the Crow’s beak.

Another unsung hero in that regard is the praying mantis, i.e. taking out predatory and poisonous insects/spiders. But they do strike fear in my heart, the way they look at you, their world class sprinting speed and then take to the air if they so choose. They just pop up outta nowhere. I ain't gonna lie, I'm scared to death of 'em.

Crows are awesome to have around if you free range chickens. Hawks will not come near. A murder of crows is awesome unless you grow corn.
