Alabama’s band does the same shite in Tiger Stadium after they win. I’d love to see the drum major get tased.

Very conservative idea complying or dying...very small governmentesque...

I can't take this seriously coming from someone who doesn't even know how a thermometer works.

Where'd you get this propaganda term, the NAACP list buzz words? It's funny you say that because I watch a lot of bodycam video, and it's always the person refusing to comply that has nothing to lose and pulls out a gun on the officer. Yet you think they have the right to say no, you can't question me during this traffic stop or whatever lawful stop is taking place

“get out my face “

“Stop touching me”

“ why are you doing this “

“ don’t touch me “

“ you’re touching me “

“ I can’t breathe “

And on and on. I watch those videos also.

How many times does this happen? Do you have the statistics?
Do you have the statistics on airline mishaps as well?

Quit talking out of your arse.

You think some cops working a detail at a football game really wanted this to happen.

No, they want to watch the game, get paid, and go home. Some dumbass wanted to keep high school kids in an unsafe area endangering them. Why arent you mad at that guy? He willfully endangered the lives of the kids he was responsible for.

In my years on the OT, I’ve seen a lot of people pick very stupid hills to die on and make a complete arse of themselves in the process.

I want to congratulate you on surpassing them all. Your commitment to delusion and stupidity is truly impressive.

But is it in the best interest, especially in a neighborhood such as this, for the police to exert their absolute authority in such a situation?
Is it in the best interest of this teacher’s students to set the example that fighting police is appropriate?

You are putting an entire generation in a position where they see two options as acceptable, and you are damning them for it because of your self-righteous indignation.

1. Teacher is asked to leave and doesn’t, then fights the police. - teacher is apparently in the right and the police are in the wrong.

Great lesson for impressionable youth.

2. Police ask him to leave for trespassing and he refuses. Police simply walk away. - teaching youth that there are no consequences for your actions.

Great lesson for impressionable youth.

The teacher was 100% in the wrong.

He should have left when asked and he should have followed school policy, but that doesn’t get your political/social views in a tizzy, so we can’t have that view.

Officers lost complete control of the situation. The band director should be fired for setting such a poor example for the students.

Used to be tasers were only to be used in a situation where lethal force needed replaced. In other words, a non-lethal option where lethal force was the only option. Now they are used for lazy arse, out of shape, weak cops to not have to deal with the repercussions of their bad decisions on sight.

Stop with this nonsense about band directors and police. I need AwgustaDawg to admit to me that he was wrong and he has no idea how thermometers work or how temperature is recorded. I need him to know how wrong he was and that I was right. I want vindication from his Augusta is burning crap propped up by some nonsense he pulled out of his arse. That's what is important here.....not this crying about a dude getting tased.

*Of course most of this is said tongue-in-cheek, but the dude up and vanished from that thread after being so sure of himself. It irks me. Consider me irked. He's irksome.

So, when someone is resisting arrest like this guy, if cops can’t tase him, what exactly should they do to make him stop resisting and comply? Perhaps say “pretty please with sugar on top”?

the guy was shoving the cops, swinging at them. if the cop had hit him, then it was a gross overstep of authority and police abuse.

they advised him at least 3 times they would taze him if he did not calm down - what choice did he leave the cop? no wonder people do not want to be cops - if they do the right thing, they get crucified. if they don't they get crucified.

you clearly do not know the area.

there was another incident recently at another school in Bham, where the kid showed up to a game in front of the cops with a gun.

the simple fact is - what the bank director was doing was against the rules of his employer, he was asked to stop, allowed to continue. asked again to stop, he turned hostile, started pushing security and swinging on the cops. he was warned numerous times to stop or he would be tazed, others that were not the police pleaded with him to stop and he didn't listen.

there are numerous examples of the police overstepping - this is not one of them, no matter how many ways anyone wants to attempt to spin it.

accountability was needed. he broke the rules, refused to comply - despite law enforcement being pretty chill about it at 1st.

now it looks like the AEA is condemning the police as well.
