Best way to eliminate flies outdoors

I have two dogs and a pool here in AZ.... great backyard however the flies are crazy and mainly just around the door area...

Any ideas for eradication of these pests?

Fly trap bags that you fill with water to release an attractant work quite well.

Horse Barns use a fly catching bag or jar, check out your nearest Feed Supply, here is a link to order one on line

You can use these.

Most hardware and box stores have them. They smell like a dead body, so you have to place them away from your house. They can catch 100's of flies.

I ordered a 1 acre dynatrap rig at the beginning of the summer and I can 100% attest that it works. Within two days I had a 1.5 inch layer of bugs in the bottom trap...and the bottom trap is about a foot in diameter.

Get some potted herbs Basil, lavender rue,mint... they don’t like the fragrance... put it near your doors

I had to spray Bifen, and also got rid of all flowers and fallen seeds that they were eating on the ground

I'd rather the flies.
That shite really, and I mean, really stinks.
I can tolerate baby diapers and cat shite, but I can't stand the smell of those fly traps.

I am the Carl Hathcock of bug-a-salt. It’s great fun and effective if you have time on your hands but wouldn’t recommend for long term.
